I Am Honest (Proverbs 12:17)
“An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.”
– Proverbs 12:17
God Says You Are Honest
Honesty is a reflection of God’s character and a foundation for a life of integrity. This verse reminds us that truthfulness is not just about what we say—it’s about living in a way that reflects God’s truth in our actions, words, and decisions.
Being honest builds trust with others and honors God. The Bible says, “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy” (Proverbs 12:22). When you choose to be honest, even when it’s hard, you bring light into situations and show respect for God’s values.
Living honestly doesn’t mean being perfect, but it does mean striving to speak and act with sincerity and truth. It helps build stronger relationships and gives you peace, knowing you are walking in alignment with God’s will.
