Push Past Challenges With Perseverance
Perseverance: the ability to keep going and not give up, even when things are tough.
When you’re in the middle of a storm, it’s natural to wonder when it will end.
No one chooses to go through difficult times; we often try to avoid challenges. However, God sees these storms as opportunities for our faith to grow. He allows what we might see as “bad things” to happen because they make us stronger.
When facing obstacles, remember that your success rate in overcoming difficulties is 100% because the God of the universe is on your side. He’s been with you from the start and won’t abandon you now.
Show Him that He can trust you to be faithful and to celebrate the victory He will help you achieve.
The challenges you face are temporary and will pass with time. The key to getting through is gratitude for who God is and remembering that the giant in your life may be big, but it’s not bigger than God. Stay firm in your belief that you’ll make it through, and He will reward you when it’s over.
James 1:2–4: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
