I Am Persistent (Matthew 7:7)

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Matthew 7:7 (NIV)

God Says You Are Persistent

God encourages you to keep asking, seeking, and knocking because persistence leads to breakthroughs. This verse reminds us that when you remain faithful in prayer, trust in God’s timing, and continue moving forward, He will provide the answers, guidance, and opportunities you need.

Persistence is not just about waiting—it’s about actively pursuing what God has placed in your heart. The Bible says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). When challenges come, staying persistent strengthens your faith and deepens your relationship with God.

God honors those who press forward with faith, even when things seem uncertain. He sees your efforts, hears your prayers, and opens doors that no one else can. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep moving—God is leading you toward something greater.

How to Stay Persistent in Faith

  • Pray Without Giving Up
Keep bringing your requests to God, trusting that He hears you and is working on your behalf.
  • Write Down Your Goals and Prayers
Keep track of what you are believing God for, and reflect on how He has answered past prayers.
  • Take Steps Toward What You Are Seeking
Keep moving forward, even in small ways, knowing that persistence brings progress.
  • Trust God’s Timing
Believe that God will provide the right opportunities at the right time, even if the wait is longer than expected.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my ultimate provider. Strengthen my faith so that I don’t give up when things take time. Help me to trust Your timing and to keep moving forward with confidence, knowing that You are leading me to the right doors. Teach me to be persistent in prayer, in my purpose, and in my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
